Visual insanity!
Another amazing piece of crazy lace agate, in a large teardrop cut with a gorgeous glossy high polish finish.
Mexican crazy lace is known for it's wild convoluted fortification pattern, and this specimen will not disappoint! A pale grey & white base with tight banding and an array of tubes & orbs in a wild and random lacy pattern with some translucent swirling and saturated colors ranging from amber to caramel to soft peachy redish brown. A very unique and beautiful stone.
Open backed, because the back was just as pretty as the front!
Hand set in a fine silver bezel with a sterling silver base, it floats from a hidden tube bail on a 16" Italian sterling silver soft corned rounded box chain that closes with my signature hand forged j-hook clasp. The pendant measures 43mm x 25mm (1.75" x 1"). Crafted entirely in fine (99%) and sterling (92.5%) silver that has been oxidized and hand buffed to a buttery soft satin finish. A totally one of a kind piece. All metalwork done in studio by hand, by me.
